Welcome to the Jervis Bay division of the Royal Volunteer Coastal Patrol.
Our mission is the Safety of Life at Sea.
We monitor the marine radio bands (VHF and 27MHz) on a 7 day 24 hour basis around the year from our base in Voyager Park, Huskisson or one of our three standby stations.
We have two rescue vessels, the Colin Woods and the Ian E Bates.
We also provide a Marine Rescue Safety Service (MRSS) to all boaters in the vicinity where they can log in and out with us for the day. Nominated return times are monitored and search and rescue services are provided if necessary.
Education is also available - radio licence, first aid, seamanship, basic navigation, Waterways licence testing and safety at sea courses are run during the year in groups at minimal fees for members and are also open to the public.
As a volunteer organisation and registered charity we also welcome both volunteers and donations in order to continue to provide these services to the boating community.
